Aquatic update

The grass height this week is 8 inches. The water levels are 3 inches high. The grass color is the same as the previous week. No growth in aquatic level.

The grass height this 7 and 1/2 inches. The water height is 3 inches. The grass color is light green at top and darker on bottom. No growth in aquatic levels.

The grass in now 6 inches tall. The water level is at about 3 1/2 inches. The grass in the bottle has become more green, there is less yellow now. There is a little bit of algae growing off the yarn in the water.

This week our grass height Is 5 and a half inches. And the water height is 3 inches. The grass color is lighter on top then on bottom its darker. The grass height has increases 1 inches.

This week our grass height is 4 in a half inches long. The water height is 3 inches. The highest point of the grass blade is darker than the bottom as you go Down. There is more grass blades this week than last they grass is also higher.

This week our bottle has began germination and now has grass about 1 inch high. The water height in our bottle is about 3 and a half inches. We currently don’t have a fish we are still deciding if we want one.

We made the pros and cons t chart for farming and different kinds of businesses in the city. I learned how from a small scale what we do for a city looks good but from a large scale it’s not good for other city’s. We learned that using less water and growing away trash can help a city.

To create the bottle biome we got two bottles and cut the tops and bottoms off. We then poked a hole through the cap and put a string through it to act as the capillary affect. We then added dirt water gravel and seeds to start our biome. Over the next 9 weeks I hope to see our biome grow and be healthy.

This week we talked with our groups about what fish we are getting. We all pitched in and got 8 fish. Ashley Newman got our glow light. We also added some decorations to our tank we are now finished.
